For all full Gold Star members (i.e. paid annual and current subscriptions) professional indemnity cover is available for all assignments sourced through execs4hire, provided that they are located within the E.U. and are of less than 12 months in duration. Placements in excess of 12 months may be covered at the insurer’s sole discretion.

Cover is provided and underwritten by Hiscox (a Financial Services Authority regulated firm). Please note that execs4hire in compliance with FSA guidelines does not endorse or supply advice on any of the products on offer as a component of Gold Star. Further, cover is not afforded for any assignments which are not sourced via the execs4hire website job feed or recruiter CV requests.

We ask that you contact us directly in writing prior to starting an assignment or cover shall not be afforded for the duration of that employment. Please note cover is not in place until confirmation is received from execs4hire in writing and that any assignment commenced upon without this confirmation shall not be covered in any way by this policy.

Cover is not afforded for claims brought in the USA/Canada and no cover is afforded for claims or losses arising from any business activity conducted before written confirmation is received from execs4hire. Any period of employment which can be reasonably foreseen to extend beyond 12 months in duration must be referred as soon as is practical to execs4hire and in any case in excess of 14 working days prior to the 12 month expiration of cover. Any additional cover is at the insurers sole discression.

Please note that by accepting these terms and conditions you confirm that you have read agree to and fully understand the cover on offer. You agree to conform to your obligations as outlined above and to cover the applicable excess should a claim be made.

By accepting this insurance quote, you consent to Hiscox using the information we may hold about you for the purposes of providing insurance and handling claims, if any, and to process sensitive personal data about you where this is necessary (for example health information or criminal convictions). This may mean we have to give some details to third parties involved in providing insurance cover. These may include insurance carriers, third-party claims adjusters, fraud detection and prevention services, reinsurance companies and insurance regulatory authorities. Where such sensitive personal information relates to anyone other than you, you must obtain the explicit consent of the person to whom the information relates both to the disclosure of such information to us and its use by us as set out above. The information provided will be treated in confidence and in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998. You have the right to apply for a copy of your information (for which we may charge a small fee) and to have any inaccuracies corrected.
